This position is Monday -Thursday 3pm-9pm, Sunday 5pm-9pm, 28 hours per week. This is a long term position.

The Placement Assistant combines human resources and administrative skills in a customer service environment. Responsibilities include supporting supporting the Placement Counselor in the Temp Jobs Division, which includes staffing temporary jobs, writing job descriptions, billing and submitting payroll. It also includes supporting the Recruiter with candidate management by conducting interviews, reference checks, submitting back ground checks and maintaining HR files. There is social media management along with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Excellent writing skills and attention to detail are necessary. Opportunity for growth is available.
To be successful you must exhibit a strong initiative, be organized, computer literate in Microsoft Office (experience with Access is a plus) and have a good sense of humor. Those who flourish in this position have exceptional attention to detail and relate well to all types of people.
A Bachelor's degree or in school working on a Bachelor's degree is required along with two to three years demonstrated work experience in a fast paced administrative capacity with deadline orientation. Experience in social media posting is helpful. Experiences in the staffing industry or human resources are helpful as well.
This job requires living no more than a 30 minute commute radius of the office.

Compensation depends on background and experience: $14-16 per hour, plus 5 paid vacation days and major holidays paid.
