Specific Responsibilities:

Come work in a fun, fast-paced start-up environment with our Social Media Insights team to build industry hierarchies around the consumer voice across a variety of industries:

- Extract keywords and specific topics from specific data sources, including social and digital media and internal client data and organize those into a relevant multi-level structure
- Proactively analyze findings, in cooperation with team members, to develop business insight reports.
- Work closely with other Consumer Insights team members to develop internal best practices
- Ensure highest level of data quality and validation

Qualifications:

- Relevant experience working with internal and external consumer data, data entry, text analysis, or keyword extraction
- Ability to work and learn quickly in a changing environment
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, including sort/filter, pivot tables, basic functions
- Familiar with social and digital media sources/platforms
- Comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment
- Company and industry curiosity: candidate maintains a strong curiosity about our business and the climate of our industry
- Willing and able to continuously evaluate how trends in the company or industry may impact specific studies or strategies currently in place in the Consumer Insights department.
- Bonus qualifications include familiarity with DataSift, GNIP, and the Atlassian suite of products - applicant need not know everything about using these tools, but knowledge of them is helpful
