A local Property Management Company is looking for a motivated Assistant Property Manager to perform bookkeeping and data entry tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft office products, especially Excel, and have a full understanding of accounting/bookkeeping principles.
Job duties include:
Responsible for accounts payable and weekly check runs
Monthly account reconciliations, vendor accounts, receivable accounts, bank accounts
Generate invoice data into our online work order network
Data entry, filing and vendor relations
Work in a team environment and pick up where others are unable to finish
Take prospects out to show apartments.
Accounting skills that enable work to be completed efficiently and accurately
Problem solving skills and an ability to work with minimal supervision
Dependable and able to commit to extra hours when needed to make deadlines
Be a team player with the desire to support the commitments of the business and coworkers
Minimum of 1 years experience in the Property Management, specially as an assistant Property Manager
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Professional attitude and presentation
Experience with Microsoft office products, especially Excel
