Loan Partner II / Loan Officer Assistant / Loan Processor Job Label: SF_LP II Houston-2-2 Loan Partner II Wanted! Join a Top Producer mortgage originating team in the Houston/Spring Branch/I10 area. You must love to talk to clients! Essential Duties of the Position:Assist the Loan Officer with all aspects of a file from the time of contract, to closing.Pre-qualify clients; finish/complete loan applications for meeting the loan officer.Disclose and re-disclose applications as needed.Communicate directly with clients on any loan changes, documentation, or questions.Close all loans on time.Assist the Loan Officer with other administrative and/or sales duties as needed.Turn all files into processing within 24 hours.Weekly status calls to the client.Proactive communication with all parties involved in the transaction.Attend all Monday pipeline reviews.Able to meet with clients in the absence of the Loan Officer.Review all closing statements and compare to the latest disclosure, correct discrepancies.Assist the LPI with loan scenarios and pre-qualificationsJob Requirements: High school diploma or equivalentMust be able to work 40 hours per week and overtime as requiredMust be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook applicationsProficient in DU/DO, LP, & major Origination systemsMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have a positive attitudeMust be dependable, self-motivated and require minimal supervisionMinimum recent 2-4 years processing, underwriting, or originating experience collectively.Familiar with Fannie/Freddie underwriting guidelines, and disclosure complianceMust be NMLS licensed or be able to become NMLS licensed within 60 days of hirePhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, a person is regularly sitting in a normal office environment at a desk using a computer, phone, fax and copy machine.
