This Jeep is practically a one owner vehicle. We bought it in 1995 when it had around 50k miles on it. The Jeep is a 1994 model but that is deceptive because for the last 8 years we have only used it as a local errand run-around vehicle and occasionally to get to a hunting spot. It currently only has 190k miles on the inline V6 (4.0 L) motor.
Mechanically, I know of no issues with the Jeep. The motor seems as strong as normal; it does not smoke or use oil that I know of. The 4x4 works fine. Transmission is an automatic. Tires are Michelin AT 31inch (a bit over sized from stock) with a reasonable amount of tread remaining. No problems with grip, esp. in 4WD. I have maintenance records from the time we got in back in 1995.
Overall, the interior is in fair shape except for some material coming loose from the back speaker cover and the window tinting (install in 1995) is starting to turn loose on a couple of windows. It has a cassette/radio that works. On the outside, the clear coat has let go on the hood and some other places, but since this started the Jeep has been kept under a roof in our equipment barn. The only other issue that I know of is that the windshield trim needs to be removed and re-sealed because it will drip a little if you are driving in the rain. Keyless entry is after-market and can be removed if you'd rather have a lower price.
As you can see it has a very nice aluminum push bumper on the front. This bumper alone is likely worth a minimum of $500 (probably more like $7-900). I do not have the original bumper but if you want the Jeep without the bumper I'll take it off and drop the price by $500. Over the years there have been some upgrades done such as extra-capacity radiator and air shocks in the back. The shocks are really nice because if you have a large load you can air them up, then after you are done run them down again for normal driving.
I've rated it as "good" because it is mechanically sound as far as I can tell.. interior/exterior probably do not warrant that high a rating. Selling, mainly, because it is now too small for our family. Email or text is best to contact. Sold As IS - no warranty written or implied. Cash only.
