Permanent Part-Time
Saturday 5:00pm-close, Sunday 12:15-5:15pm, additional hours possible

Position Objectives:
To participate in the work of front desk staff responsible for providing excellent customer service within the Irvington Tennis Club

Principle responsibilities:
Assist Front Desk Supervisor in all aspects of front desk operations.
oGreeting members
oAnswering phones
oBooking tennis courts (computerized)
oPoint of Sale (computerized)
oWorking special events

Knowledge of:
Basic operations, services and activities of a tennis club.
Computers (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook) and office equipment (cash register, printer, fax, scanner, copier, postage meter)

Ability to:
Follow directions and work independently
Meet the Irvington Club standards for excellence in customer service
Communicate clearly and concisely
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work including members and the general public
Pass the O.L.C.C. certification course (after hiring)
Pass CPR/AED certification (after hiring)

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
Previous work in office or reception area preferred
Hourly wage dependent upon experience
