Our Maintenance Technician's are primarily responsible for ensuring all aspects of community maintenance for Avesta Homes; addressing all maintenance issues, completing preventative maintenance, and maintaining a well performing community. Our MTs will also be responsible for working with Leasing teammates to create a safe, cheerful, and functioning community that meets Avesta standards by performing the following duties:
Completes all work orders within timelines specified in company policy.
Addresses all emergency maintenance issues immediately.
Responds to after-hours emergencies.
Completes preventative maintenance throughout the community.
Keeps the entire community presentable (clean/landscaped/etc.)
Keeps operating costs under control and minimizes costs where possible.
Contributes to strong customer relationships.
Enforces lease terms and community rules and regulations. Provides prompt notice to supervisors when violations occur.
Works with Support Office to effect evictions in accordance with state law and company policy.
To be successful with Avesta you must have the following:
Trade skills including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, flooring, cabinetry, pools, appliances, etc.
Trade Licensing preferred but not required
Must have own reliable transportation
Must live within 30 minutes from the community
Must have basic construction-related tools
