Job Title:Therapy Assistant
Reports To: Therapy Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Location: Highland Village, TX
Salary: $9-10 Hourly
The Therapy Assistant position assists patients with customized treatment plans based on each individuals medical and therapy needs. This position works in an effort to support the Chiropractors and therapists.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with applying passive modalities to include muscle stimulation, cold laser therapy, intersegmental traction and ultrasound
Educate patients on how to use various medical equipment
Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment
Maintain the cleanliness of exam and therapy rooms
Conduct self in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner at all times.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Knowledge of basic therapy techniques and equipment
Basic knowledge of medical terminology related to position
Ability to multitask
Strong customer service focus
Must be able to work independently as well as a team member
High School Diploma is required
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
