Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience creating and managing Information Systems of tracking. Solid working knowledge of computer software to include: Word, Excel, HRIS systems, Crystal (or other) report writer software and payroll systems. A team player and the ability and desire to stay current on laws affecting benefits administration, credentialing and compliance. Excellent written, verbal, organizational skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; auditory and visual skills.
Responsible for all aspects of Benefits and COBRA Administration. Assists with processing of bi-weekly payroll for 480 employees. Administers medical, dental, group and voluntary life, short and long-term disability, cafeteria, flexible spending, tuition remission, tuition reimbursement, EAP and 401K benefits programs. Interfaces with all vendors, updates databases to ensure all employee data is accurate. Participates in annual audits. Conducts annual open enrollment process, benefits fairs. Manages FMLA process and ensures all benefits administration is compliant with federal and state laws. Provides vendors data. Responds to employee questions. Runs various reports using ABRA and Crystal. Calculates benefits availability for each employee and inputs data into Payroll system--changes data to reflect employee schedule changes. Manages all aspects of Unemployment Claims and Worker's Compensation, including case management. Responsible for participating in the development of, and for managing, all systems to maintain compliance, including management of personnel files, credentialing and data tracking
