Vinfen supports thousands of adolescents and adults with psychiatric, developmental and behavioral disabilities at more than 300 sites with 2,600 employees in eastern Massachusetts and Connecticut.
We are seeking compassionate, caring, dynamic staff to provide services to clients living with psychiatric disabilities in the Merrimack Valley area. Per diem staff are responsible for providing support and supervision to clients on an individual and group basis. Duties include, but are not limited to, transportation, medication administration, household chores, cooking and implementing treatment plans. Responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy residential environment.
The Relief Counselor positions are great ways to either gain more experience in the mental health field or to supplement an existing position. We have frequently have open 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available on week days and weekends. The Relief Counselor positions offer the unique opportunity to work around your availability however looking for candidates interested in picking up shifts on a regular basis.
To succeed in this role you will have good time management skills, good writing skills and prior Human Services experience. A High School diploma/GED required but a bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field preferred.
All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least one year. You also must be able to successfully pass a CORI check and a driving record check. All applicants must be able to become CPR, First Aid and Safety Care certified within 90 days of employment and MAP certified within 150 days.
