The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for working closely with field sales staff, regional operations teams, and corporate support to maintain and grow all existing programs as well as generating and managing the development of new markets. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing strong internal and external relationships primarily through telephone contact, planning meetings and overall account management for Catapult Learning. The client base for this position will cover several markets in multiple states.

Job Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Lead management -- including generating, qualifying and tracking leads.Work in conjunction with Marketing, Business Development, Operations and Corporate Support teams to develop and implement business development and marketing plans for designated territories, products and funding opportunities .Work with marketing, sales, finance and data base management resources to ensure that reliable information on client contacts, targeted market potential client lists, are compiled , reviewed and used regularly. Support the generation of reports on sales campaign progress for the sales team and management. This will includes collaborating with MIS for technical support and system improvements.Oversee and conduct professional telephone support to respond to in-bound inquiries and to conduct out-bound telemarketing campaigns, and systematically responding to web, referral, and conference leads for follow-up. This may include contracting with outside vendors for telemarketing campaigns.Work with product development group to provide input from marketplace on the relevance of current product set ant to suggest modification to same and needed new products.Work closely with the proposal and contract development team around responding effectively to leads and inquires for new programs.Regularly contact prospects via telephone and determine interest level, buying power, etc.Advance relationships with contacts through telephone work, direct mail, marketing campaigns, sales events and when necessary on-site meetings.Develop market intelligence about Catapult Learning products and services, the education marketplace, major funding sources and Catapult's primary competitors, etc.In conjunction with Sales, marketing , product development, EQ and operations resources ; help develop and implementing orientation and training programs for field sales staff and operation staff responsible for account management and renewal activities.He/she will be evaluated based upon the ability to generate leads that create new partnerships and expand existing business.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Must have a BS/BA degree in related field and 4-6 years professional sales experience, preferably inside sales.Must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, follow through and work independently.PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs.
