Meet Smokie. He is a 17 year old flee bitten grey. Stands approximately 15.3. We purchased him 5 years ago for my husband and he just doesn't have the time to ride him like he was hoping. Smokie is an amazing horse. Can pull him right out of the pasture and go for a ride anytime. Goes out alone or in groups. Has been to Cutt Foot, horse shows, rides down the rode, and was shot off of when he was younger I was told by privious owners. (We have never tried ourselves) Doesn't mind being in the back or the front of the pack. Not hyper or spooky. He doesn't care much for speed, but will get going if u ask it of him. Beginner safe. As we have had many friends who don't know much about riding just jump on and go. GREAT trail horse. He doesn't have much patience when his back feet need to be trimmed. Only ever put front shoes on him to go riding down gravel roads. Can be headstrong at times but can work right through it. Loads right up and hauls well in any slant. I had a two horse straight load that he would get into but didn't like it much cause his ears touched the ceiling. Good for vet. Ties extremely well. UTD on coggins and feet. He gets along great with my other two gelding. One is a pony so he is fine with little horses also. My mare is a bit pushy trying to be the boss and he puts her in her place. Which leads to kick and bite marks on her. He is not a pushy boss horse. But he is the boss and won't put up with other horses trying to push him around. Which is what my mare does to him. Otherwise he is very laid back guy. We hate to see this guy go. But he deserves someone who has time to ride him more then 3-5 times a year. Good home is a MUST!! More pics in comments. Located in Culver. Asking 2,000.00
