Howdy and happy day to you,
Im the hiring manager for a growing firm(100 end users) in nashville near 100 oaks mall. Very close to the BMW dealer here. Im looking for someone kinda special. A unique personality. A can do attitude and a technical apptitude with a willingness to learn. This is kinda entry level but you need to be good at self learning and learning quickly. Your day to day job will be helpdesk. That means fielding tickets from our end users to ensure their systems are running smoothly.
The most important skill for this job is Personality, positivity, flexibility and awesome communication skills. This will be constantly working with folks that are not techy and have no desire to be so - they want to do thier job and move on. Our job is to enable that. Im looking for someone who truly enjoys helping people, teaching people, and fixing technology.
At the minimum you need to be able to -
Know office or how to learn about specifc problems in office. We run into a lot of word quarks and excel challanges.
Microsoft windows 7-10 - we use windows 7 and surfaces here.
Know how to use you tube to learn something you didnt know and do this rapidly using google and other online tools.
you should have a passion for technology
This job is a learning position. You will be amazed at how much you can learn in 1 year here. We deal with VMware, Active Directory, SQL, Python, windows servers, unix, voip, vpn, firewalls really the whole gamut. Your core job will be helpdesk but if we are handeling that then the world is your oyster.
We have a good team here and are looking for the next key player.
Pay for this starts at $12/hr 40 hrs a week.
