Zumbrunn Law Corporation is looking for an outgoing, attentive individual to be hired into our currently open, part-time (25-30 hours/week) Bookkeeper's position. This is a permanent position with a semi-flexible schedule to be determined after hire. We are a small law office of two attorneys and two secretaries that has been a part of the legal community for over 40 years, located near the Victorville Courthouse. QuickBooks required, at least two years of experience. Applicant should have good interpersonal skills and be able to multi-task as this position also requires the bookkeeper to work closely with the front desk, attorneys, secretaries, as well as our clients.
Basic Job Description includes:
Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Balance subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client account information.
Create monthly statements and ledgers, manage payment plans, and make collection calls.
Produce financial statements and reports for business taxes.
Write receipts and refunds, make deposits, pay bills, and open bank accounts for clients and
Answer telephones, take messages, and make appointments for attorneys.
Order office supplies.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
