POSITION SUMMARY: Professional Executive Level Administrative Assistant
Department: Legal and Ownership
Job Title: Exec Admin Assistant
Salary Range: DOE $40,000-$50,000 DOE
General Definition: To assist our attorneys and owner/president with daily administrative duties in a highly organized fashion
Supervision Received: Yes
Supervision Exercised: No

BASIC REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

You need to be highly organized- almost to a fault.
Must be an excellent communicator/writer .
Preferred experience in handling medical claims in an out-of-network billing environment.
Comfortable handling phone calls and making demands for payment.
The ability to read and understand explanation of benefits.
Basic understanding of insurance policies and contracts.
Basic knowledge of collection laws and practices, multi-state statutes concerning medical insurance claims, and subrogation.
Basic knowledge of HIPPA, ERISA and PPACA.
Must have Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
Successful candidate is required to have accurate and efficient record keeping ability.
Work must be done in a manner that is available for the other members within the dept. to view, understand, and utilize.
This position acts as part of a team, and as such you must be capable of working with different projects, methods, and personalities, and have the creativity to also offer solutions if the need arises.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and have no difficulty "switching gears" as they move throughout the workday.
The successful candidate will have the ability to learn both sides of the industry, and understand how to apply that information to their work. A background in billing and collections, and legal is preferred.
Must be comfortable in a production driven environment, with monthly performance evaluations and goals.
Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to recognize patterns, and develop strategies in response to those patterns.
Must be curious, and willing to learn and able to commit to a high standard of excellence.

Must be able to pass background check as require.
Must be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result.
