You will report to the Vice President of Marketing and works in conjunction in the development and execution of the B to B and B to C Marketing strategies and works closely with the Marketing Team to bring the brand to reality for travelers, travel agencies and groups. The Marketing Supervisor oversees the process for all marketing tacticals to ensure effective and on-time completion. S/he will supervise all aspects of the tacticals and marketing programs from concept to fruition across all brand touch points including: traditional, digital and social media, added value programs, loyalty programs, promotions, event marketing and more. S/he is customer-centric in his/her approach and has a deep knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Suite, Email Marketing Tools and Salesforce.com S/he is an expert of analysis and interpretation of data, and is heavily focused on analytics and ROI to provide mailing files and reports.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Work closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing to understand specific marketing goals and objectives; prioritize initiatives and allocate marketing resources as appropriate.
Execute strategic direction and oversee production of all marketing materials to all channels, including but not limited to: direct mail campaigns, direct marketing pieces, email marketing, trade and consumer events, public relations, SEO/SEM and website strategies.
Execute all tacticals on the marketing timeline to ensure alignment across the organization and fully integrated programs across all channel touch points.
Supervise the departmental project/process management, including managing workflow from inception to execution while maximizing the team's productivity and efficiency while meeting deadlines.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional partners including the Group Sales, Call Center Sales, Product Development, Operations and Distribution to ensure marketing is working collaboratively across the brand.
Utilize key metrics to measure and evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of all marketing programs and provide reports as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent field with a minimum 2 years of marketing experience with strengths in an integrated marketing environment in both B to C and B to B marketing, brand building, digital and traditional marketing and public relations in a small to medium sized company.
A strong appreciation and understanding of travel, hospitality and tourism is a plus.
Experience managing web and sheetfed printers, lettershops, promotional items suppliers.
Event planning to include contracting event space, food and beverage and event management.
A highly collaborative team player with a proven track record in effectively leading, managing, motivating and inspiring others
Ability to productively partner with cross-functional team members to meet objectives
Proven success developing and implementing new marketing ideas
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to succeed in fast-paced environment, including quickly and accurately assessing opportunities to determine best approach
Strong knowledge in all aspects of digital and social media
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite Skills -- advanced Excel skills are required.
Experience with Lyris or other email marketing tools.
Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software and reservation systems.
Must consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and problem-solving to ensure maximum professional actions and outcomes across all areas of responsibility.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
