We are seeking a front office professional to join our team. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for supporting dental office administrative activities including verifying dental insurance, appointment scheduling, estimating treatment costs, answering patient questions regarding appointments and basic clinical procedures, and assisting other team members as needed.
Front Office Duties Include:
-Provide the patients with excellent quality of care. Must be presentable and have customer service skills.
-Practice excellent team dynamics, be a team player and show mutual respect for the team.
-Answer the phone in a proper and friendly manner. (Training will be provided)
-Use Dentrix software to its optimum capacity in scheduling, filing, creating charts, billing, submitting claims, etc (Training will be provided for qualified candidates)
-Verifying insurance prior to treatment.
-Treatment plan presentation.
-Ability to properly operate and maintain various front office equipments.
-Review patient's health history and chart prior to doctor's arrival and document appropriately in patient's chart.
-Ability to chart using Dentrix software (Training will be provided)
-Ability to communicate our quality service to patients.
-Follow the managerial rules and guidelines.
-Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and our own rules and guidelines.
-Attend regular training programs provided by CE-certified entities and by our own trainers.
-Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
-Customer Service Experience required
-Candidates with attention to detail, organized, responsible, self motivated, and team players will be highly considered.
- High School diploma or GED
- A minimum of one year of dental front office experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
