Immediate opening for an administrative assistant/shipping clerk. Primary functions are data entry and customer service. A high school diploma or similar is required. Data entry and shipping experience is a plus but not necessary. Hours include Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with overtime to be worked as needed to satisfy expanding operating requirements and other needs.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and computer/typing skills; Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook, professional demeanor, knowledge of spelling and grammar, and be self motivated. E2 and DocStar experience a plus.
Position Duties: Can include, but not limited to:
Perform general office duties including data entry of customer purchase orders
Maintenance of customer purchase order records
Prepare all documentation necessary for shipping a customer purchase order; obtain quality assurance documentation, as well as any additional documentation needed for customer shipment
Assist customers via phone and email
Scanning and filing documents
Answer incoming telephone calls and direct to appropriate person
Other office functions as needed
