Microsoft Support Technician/Systems Integrator Needed

We are a growing IT consulting company, providing managed services to small to medium sized businesses in Central Texas and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a very strong team of highly experienced systems integrators, engineers, and developers.
We are in need of a Microsoft Support Engineer. This position requires a strong background in Windows Desktop support (all versions), as well as a background in computer and peripheral hardware maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience with Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2008 R2 are required. This position also requires a basic level of knowledge of IP-based networking, including the management and configuration of SOHO routers (Linksys, Netgear, etc.). A minimum of two years of experience working with the above platforms is required.
More extensive experience with Active Directory management/maintenance/troubleshooting, Exchange Server management/maintenance/troubleshooting, and/or Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Access is a plus. Experience with design/management/configuration of Cisco PIX and other Cisco devices is a plus. Experience with basic Ethernet cabling is a plus.
You will be required to travel onsite to see clients or work from a central office using remote access software to troubleshoot issues remotely. Working from home is required when applicable. Accordingly, strong interpersonal skills and a highly polite, patient demeanor are required traits. Our end users require EXCELLENT customer service and ethics, and accordingly, we demand this from our engineers.
A private aircraft is available for travel to clients in other cities, when needed.
Shared company vehicles are available to check-in/check-out for travel to clients in Austin & other cities.
This position will require you to be on call occasionally, as after-hours work is sometimes required.
Excellent ongoing training and a training/test lab will be provided to help you broaden your skill-set as you advance in the company.

-Cisco Routers/Switches (Including VLANs, VTP, Spanning-Tree, etc.)
-PHP/MySQL
-Microsoft Access
-Pervasive SQL
-Trixbox/FreePBX/other hybrid VoIP Systems
-Optometric Practice Management Software (Officemate, Crystal PM, Compulink, Maximeyes, Optos, EyeScape, ATLAS, etc.)
-Symantec Endpoint Protection
-Symantec Backup Exec
-Multiple flavors of SOHO routers/wireless access points/switches (Linksys, Netgear, etc.)
-Multiple flavors of printers/scanners/copiers
-QuickBooks/Other Accounting Software
-Barracuda content filtering
