Executive Chef- Catering
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced and professional Executive Chef to join our well-established off-site catering company. The Executive Chef oversees the culinary operation and is responsible for ensuring a delightful, memorable culinary experience for our clients and their guests. Our Executive Chef adheres to Company guidelines, follows established recipes and initiates the creation of new menu items. It is expected that all cuisine is personally inspected by the Chef to ensure standards for visual presentation and taste are consistently maintained before being released for service.
As a leader in our organization, the Executive Chef must effectively communicate with other department management and staff in a mature, professional and polite manner at all times. This position is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with all associates through, training, educating, mentoring and managing a culinary team of up to 15 people.
Further, the Executive Chef will ensure proper receiving, storage, rotation and preparation of all food products to comply with the highest Company standards and Arizona Department of Health regulations. Ensure superior cleanliness and organization of the kitchen adhering to Company guidelines for cost control, product quality and portion quantities. Responsibilities include but not limited to: supervision of all culinary staff, scheduling, product purchasing, quality control, menu creation, menu planning, staff preparation responsibilities, attending weekly prospective meetings and attending or working off-site events.
