Position Title: Purchasing Specialist

Overall responsibility:
oThe Purchasing Specialist will handle purchasing for the company. These duties include, issuing PO's to appropriate vendors for hardware, software, warranty and small parts, creating Sales orders, and working with accounting to ensure accurate records. In addition, the purchasing specialist manages all shipping utilizing established carriers. Manage land dates of customer equipment. Keeping CRM data current and accurate. The purchasing specialist is also responsible for creating accounts with our vendor (a drop ship requirement), and providing equipment move request information. This position also fully manages our Cubie Exchange program.
Key areas of responsibilities to include but are not limited to:
Essential/critical functions:
oAccurately prepare and issue PO's to vendors, including renewal PO's
oRespond to new orders, manage client creation, and provide accurate PO
oMaintain accurate data in CRM
oCreate accurate sales orders to coordinate with purchases
Other functions:
oCoordinate and execute the shipment of parts and supplies to Clients
oMaintain accurate and timely communications to the Cubex Team regarding customer orders
oManage Cubie exchange program
oManage Logistics
oInventory Managemet

Skills and Attributes:
oProficient in Internet related applications
oIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products
oSalesforce experience preferred
oSome familiarity with Quick books preferred
Other skills:
oExceptional attention to detail
oAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
oAbility to effectively listen, and escalate issues with purchases as needed
oAbility to independently research, and resolve issues as they arise
oAbility to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of experience while maintaining a positive attitude

Education/Licenses/Certifications/Position Requirement:
oRelevant and applicable purchasing experience
oStrong aptitude and ability to manage multiple time sensitive details
oBachelor's Degree (Supply Chain Management desireable)
