Garde Manger Chef for Catering Company
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced and professional Garde Manger Chef to join our well-established catering company. This position of Garde Manger Chef will be responsible for ensuring a memorable culinary experience for our clients and their guests by visually inspecting presentations and tasting all cuisine preparations before being released, served and/or consumed, adhering to company quality standards. The position Garde Manger Chef will ensure proper receiving, storage, rotation and preparation of all food products particular to the Garde Manger department and comply with Arizona Department of Health regulations. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and Food & Beverage areas. Adhere to company guidelines for cost control, portion quantities and quality. Responsibilities to include planning, prepping, and setting up Garde Manger department in house and at times on off site in a mobile kitchen and providing quality service in all areas of catering production to include, but not limited to all menu items supplied by outlet kitchen and on site kitchens. The Garde Manger Chef must effectively communicate with other department management and staff in a mature, professional and polite manner at all times. This position is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with the associates through, training, educating, mentoring and managing the culinary team as well as staying up to date on culinary trends and procedures.
