An Account Manager I that will report directly to the Business Unit Manager for our Target Solution brand in Rancho Bernardo, CA. The Account Manager I, develops and maintains relationships with the company's clients. The Account Manager I ensures that client needs are met in a way that improves customer satisfaction and increases profitability for the company. This role is highly proactive and requires a self-starting mentality.
Develop professional, cooperative relationships with an assigned set of clients, and ultimately be responsible that client needs are being met and exceeded. Drive Member utilization and growth amongst an assigned group of clients.
Provide outstanding client service by responding to all administrator requests in a professional and timely manner.
Identify potential areas for new revenue generation among assigned clients and relay opportunities to appropriate Sales Representative or Business Unit Manager.
Work cooperatively within the TargetSolutions organization to create client solutions.
Conduct product trainings for new and existing clients.
Develop strong knowledge of TargetSolutions products and services and be able to align appropriate solutions to meet the specific needs of each client.
Develop industry expertise within assigned client base.
Proactively find new ways to improve TargetSolutions service offering as well as the company's process for supporting clients.
Promote and expand utilization of TargetSolutions services within assigned client base via scheduled calls and possible in-person meetings.
Maintain and track all client communications through the company CRM system.
Build and maintain client site using back office toolset.
Support Sales Staff in maintaining revenue for assigned client base and confirming repeat business.
Implement new clients by tailoring system to meet needs of their organization.
Address client concerns and ensure the resolution of issues in a timely manner, with follow-up when appropriate.
Proactively conduct strategic account reviews with all assigned customers on an annual basis to review service needs and usage trends. Identify products and pricing that meet customer needs and business objectives.
Provide back up support to client services representatives by handling some support calls.
This position requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and 2-4 years' experience in a customer-facing, service-oriented position focusing on relationship management.
A moderate understanding of strategic business issues and the ability to match client problems with TargetSolutions solutions.
Proficient in Microsoft Offices suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office), the Internet, and the ability to learn additional software.
Successful experience and confidence presenting new ideas to groups of managers and high-level executives.
Charismatic, assertive and possesses excellent interpersonal skills needed to develop strong business relationships with clients.
Service oriented attitude with a combination of outstanding customer skills, attention to detail, and expertise in resolving customer issues quickly.
Excellent phone and conversational skills in addition to well-developed presentation and writing skills.
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent organization skills.
Ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments, and deadlines.
Excellent time management, goal setting and prioritization capability.
Thrives working in a team environment.
