EXPERIENCE: Since January, 2014, Independent Automotive F & I Consultant. Work with various dealerships coaching, training, and covering for finance department personnel, Responsibilities include contracting, obtaining approval for, and achieving 55% warranty, 80% gap, and 40% ancillary product penetrations utilizing a 4 plus product menu presentation on a mostly prime credit customer. I also handle subprime, CAC business, and work the sales desk.
Dec., 2012, to Dec., 2013, employed as Finance Director at Auto Mart USA. Responsibilities included contracting customers while selling service contracts, gap insurance, and other conventional finance products. Submitting, rehashing, obtaining approval, and funding deals that ranged for prime to subprime in nature. I generated above industry standards in PVR and product penetration, and funded deals within 72 hours of delivery.
April, 2012 to Dec., 2012, Independent Automotive Sales and Finance Management Consultant. Operated a north Denver metro area Independent Dealership. Implemented tested and successful processes and procedures to increase units and gross profit, hired and trained personnel, purified and corrected inventory selection, created internet and social media presence, and increased overall market share and footprint in the business demographic.
Dec, 2008, to April, 2012, After I studied for, and obtained my full lines insurance licenses for the state of Colorado, I entered the Nationwide Insurance Agency Capital Builder Program to open my own agency. I have retained and kept my full lines Colorado insurance producer's licenses current.
March, 2004, to Dec., 2008, employed as Finance Director at Car City Superstore. Responsibilities included overseeing the entire sales, approval, and funding process of a 100 unit per month subprime specialty dealer. Possessed a fluent working knowledge of all subprime lender programs in the marketplace, and operated a highly efficient process that took internet and television leads and converted them to profitable, funded sales within 72 hours, averaging over $3000 total profit per vehicle. This compliments my decades of solid success in the prime finance and sales market. Unfortunately, the onset of the recession forced the closure of this dealership.
May 1995 to March, 2004, employed as Finance Director at the Moreland Auto Group's Skyline Mitsubishi VW where I managed a 4 person team that produced over $1400 PVR finance income, yielding above industry standard product penetrations, as well as problem solved sales and accounting issues.
