We are growing and adding to our Service Team! Visions Espresso Service is interviewing for both an experienced Field Service Technician and a Parts Manager for the Seattle Specialty Coffee Industry.

Visions Espresso Service has been selling and servicing commercial espresso and coffee equipment for 30 years. We offer full caf support from concept & consulting to ongoing equipment preventive maintenance and emergency repair. We have an extensive caf accessory wholesale program, a coffee education & training program and a full service department for both in-shop and field service equipment repair. We are a great team of coffee industry professionals who are passionate about supporting the coffee industry all from our Sodo office.

Coffee equipment experience is preferred, but candidates with comparable skills from other industries can make great candidates. Plumbing, HVAC, automotive, or motorcycle repair experience translates well into specialty coffee equipment repair. Key attributes include mechanical aptitude, a solution-oriented approach to troubleshooting and repair, MacGyver skills, attention to detail and grace under pressure.

Field Service Technician-

A Field Service Technician is the person who saves the day by fixing the broken, troubleshooting the mysterious and performing miracles with a wrench.

Responsibilities of the position include:
In-shop repair of espresso machines, grinders, brewers & water filtration
Excellent customer service skills with professional demeanor, appearance & positive attitude
Repair and installation of equipment at customers' locations
Point of service sales
Maintaining a company service vehicle
Maintaining company supplied parts inventory
Communicating effectively with the Service Team and Office Team to facilitate accurate and timely customer service and customer billing
Communicating through a paperless dispatching program and cloud based inventory system- computer and smart phone skills needed

This is full-time hourly position. Hours are 8am to 4:30pm Monday thru Friday. Alternate schedules, such as Tuesday thru Saturday or 10am to 6pm may be considered. Occasional overtime and on-call rotation (once per month) is required. Expected starting pay range is $15 to $20 per hour based on experience. Techs are often dispatched to customers' locations directly from their home. Candidates living in Seattle or Tacoma area are encouraged to apply.



Parts Manager-

A Parts Manager is makes it all possible by managing the hundreds of pieces that come together to get the right tech in front of the right customer at the right time with the right parts to save the day.

Responsibilities of the position include:
Fulfilling parts requests from customers and technicians
Managing and organizing in-shop parts inventory
Managing service vehicle inventory for four technicians
Coordinating equipment installations
Sourcing new parts and vendors
Managing inventory through QuickBooks and Google Docs

This is full-time hourly position Monday thru Friday 8:30-5pm. Overtime is rare, but may be necessary on occasion. Starting hourly pay range is $12-$16 per hour based on experience.
