This is an educational program designed to increase the quality of life for seniors by empowering them with mobile technology education.

Seniors will be guided thru high-touch experiences with their own Android devices, this is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) workshop.
.
Basic content to be covered will include; touchscreen basics, adding contacts, typing & voice dictation, taking & sharing photos, maps & directions, connecting to internet (wifi & cellular), downloading apps and more.

Our two person team will be responsible for ensuring overall daily success of these live technology training workshop events (8 hours a day, 3 sessions a day, 15 attendees per session).

In addition to presenting the curriculum during live events, duties will include venue contact, administrative tasks (reports, photos, invoices, surveys, charging devices, etc.), storage, transport, set-up and tear down of event assets (projector, laptop, screen, banners, etc) and other like duties as assigned.

Executions will take place at a variety of local venues in and around the greater St. Louis metro. Traditionally, we are at local libraries, senior centers and other like community based meeting locations.

Timing:
Program will start with up to 20 hours of administrative work in the next two weeks (8/24-8/28 & 8/31 -- 9/4)
With executions currently scheduled for 9/19, 10/3, 10/5, 10/17 & 10/24
Will average one day a week/ 4-5 days a month thru April 2016
Will have 45+ days of notice of new execution dates being added to the calendar.

Compensation:
$20 - $26 an hour as an independent contractor
Rate dependent on experience and skills

Skills/ Requirements
Articulate presentation/ teaching/ emcee skills are desired
Tech Savviness with Smartphones, Tablets and other Mobile Devices
Significant Android experience STRONGLY preferred - Guests will be bringing many different types of Android phones to the workshop, you'll need to be able to quickly navigate the settings of multiple types of Android devices
Improvisation skills - Guests will ask questions, and you'll need to be confident going 'off-script'
Patience, empathy and strong desire to help people - experience working with seniors a plus
Experienced in events, workshops, field marketing or promotions is a plus
