A locally owned Dunn County Company has an opening as a Quality Control Scale Truck Operator.


The basic function of the Scale Operator is to ensure that all trucks loaded with product are properly weighed and identified with the correct product in each truck. The Scale Operator will ensure that the operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.


The Scale Operator must have the ability to work closely with diverse groups of people, including Company employees, customers, and outside delivery companies with whom the Company deals with on a regular basis.
This position requires good telephone and radio (CB) skills.
This position requires good interpersonal skills, the ability to pay attention to detail, good listening skills, good problem solving skills, the ability to recognize and follow priorities as well as the ability to work independently.
The person filling this position must feel comfortable working with computer terminals and generating computer bills of lading.
Ensures that all trucks allowed to enter the plant are on the Aggregate Dispatcher's Dispatch Sheet for the Plant or has received appropriate telephonic or fax information to allow the dump trucks on the plant. Properly records the loaded and empty weights of the trucks.
Ensures that the proper Bills of Lading (Tickets) are generated for every truck that enters and leaves the plant. That each bill of lading accurately reflects the product and product weight.
Ensures that all of the hard copy of Bills of Lading (Tickets) are forwarded to the Credit and Billing Department on a Daily Basis following company procedures.
Closes out the cash drawer on a daily basis and sends the funds to the Office Manager for deposit. Must be used to handling checks and documentation for accounting.
Keeps the Aggregate Dispatcher informed of any changes that occur versus what is on the Daily Dispatch Sheet.

Pay: $11.00-$13.00 based on experience
Hours: Monday-Friday with possible Weekend Work. Must have a flexible schedule. This position will last from now until the end of the year.
