Under close supervision, identifies fraudulent activity on products serviced to protect Company assets and our customers. Initiates and/or receives contact from customers, potential victims and external parties while monitoring various queues, reports and items as part of the fraud prevention processes.
Contribute to fraud loss mitigation through effective review and resolution of targeted detection/prevention efforts.
Conduct customer interactions in accordance with the Brand values to optimize the customer experience.
Accurately analyze and report accounts presented for common characteristics that may lead to a trend.
Fulfill customer and business initiated inquires by all channels as assigned to resolve potential and confirmed fraudulent activity.
Adhere to procedures, compliance, and regulations to ensure that the customer and business is protected against losses and risks.
Consult victims of identity theft on recommended actions to take to clear their credit and protect against future fraud.
Seek out opportunities to increase knowledge and improve skills which will assist management in providing support for the department.
Provide feedback and update supervisor regarding trends observed while working queues, reports or interactions with customers.
Accept feedback and take action to implement recommendations for improvement.
Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Company and regulatory standards, policy and practices; report control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events.
Proficiency with all Fraud systems used for assigned job functions.
Achieve department standards particularly productivity and quality requirements. Maintain daily productivity logs and accurate payroll entry
Complete required and recommended training and development courses.
Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills to meet department standards of productivity and quality in a high production environment
Close supervision, coaching and development from immediate supervisor. Adherence to policy and procedures with limited opportunity for judgement and discretion Management of Risk (Operational Risk / FIM requirements)
Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with Client or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues. Observation of Internal Controls (Compliance Policy / FIM requirements)
Maintains client's internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
Perform various operational duties related to customer tax certification including: Review, analyze and validate IRS forms received from customers using specific criteria, and apply updates to customer accounts. Update Microsoft Access database to support department work flow; log invalid forms received to generate outbound customer correspondence. Assist in sorting/logging a large volume of incoming mail containing tax forms and related documentation. Prepare documents for scanning and verify on-line images to confirm quality for electronic storage. This position involves the handling and processing of documentation
Compensation is $12-$14 per hour depending on experience
