Position Summary: Responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to various Human Resources functions within the department as well as back-up for overall Corporate office support.

1.2 + years' experience as an administrative assistant, required

2.1-2 years relevant HR knowledge, concepts and practices, highly preferred

3.1-2 years' experience with HRIS

4.Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

5.Strong computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, required

6.Strong organizational attention to detail and follow-up skills are a must

7.Must have reliable attendance

8.Ability to adapt to changing work environment

9.Must demonstrate outstanding customer service support and relationship building with a variety of internal and external customers

10.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required

11.Must maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality

1.Assist with day-to-day efficient operation of the Human Resources Department

2.Perform a variety of general office support duties; make copies; maintain departmental calendar, meetings; process mail including receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming and outing correspondence and packages;

3.Order office supplies as needed

4.Greet employees and visitors to the organization in a professional and friendly manner

5.Direct phone inquiries to the appropriate staff members

6.Prepare and post job openings for all open positions

7.Place employment ads as directed

8.Assist with coordinating and preparing for new hire orientation and on boarding activities, including scheduling pre-employment screening, preparing on-boarding materials and collecting required documentation for personnel files
9.Prepare employment offer letters and adverse action notices as directed

10.Prepare and mail documents related to employee terminations, i.e, 401(k), benefit information, etc.

11.Responsible for coordination and distribution of individual name badges

12.Assist with addressing employee inquires within defined scope of authority

13.Maintain and/or manage personnel files

14.Operate a variety of office equipment including a computer, copier, scanner, and facsimile machine: utilize various computer applications and software packages

15.Manage records retention process of HR records and documentation

16.Perform other job related duties as assigned
