Gunther Douglas' healthcare client is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a 3 month contract-to-hire opportunity located in central Denver, CO.
Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM
-Performs skilled trades work in the maintenance, repair operation and/or installation of a variety of equipment and/ or facilities requiring certification in skilled trades such as carpentry, electrical heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration stationary engineering, steam fitting or steam and hot water, and standard performance in other skilled trade areas.
-Carpentry and electrical experience.
-Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
-Skill in determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
-Skill in obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work.
-Ability to read blueprints, schematics, specifications, and technical drawings.
-Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
-Graduation from high school or GED certificate.
-Possession of a valid Colorado Driver's license at all times during employment.
-Journeymen license preferred.
