JFC is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Assistant for a high energy, fast-paced Tax Firm here in York! This is a Temp-Hire position, working 20-40 hours per week to start, but then moving to 40 hours closer to tax season! Normal business hours for this position are 9:00am-5:00pm. This position is paying $12.00-$13.00 per hour to start based on skill and experience. Please see below for the Job Description and Candidate Requirements:
General Job Description:
Candidate will perform all general office duties including scheduling, answering phones, scanning & managing their paperless solution, stocking supplies, and some light cleaning/pick up/organizing. During Tax Season, candidate will perform data entry, assembly, and e-filing. This person would be the primary tax admin going into next tax season and help finish out the extensions the rest of this summer. This is a very diverse position
Candidate MUST be proficient with MS Office, specifically Word and Excel
Candidate MUST be able to be productive in this very fast paced, energetic environment-there's always something coming their way
Bookkeeping and Payroll experience a HUGE plus, but not necessarily required
Must be willing to grow and take on other responsibilities, specifically payroll processing and bookkeeping (this can be taught to the right person)
Successful candidate will have an outgoing, energetic personality and be a true self-starter
Prior Office Management experience a huge plus
Candidate MUST be flexible to go from PT to FT when ready
