Sales Assistant facilitates all administrative support to the sales team, and is responsible of ensuring that all work instructions and processes are followed in the office. Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; maintains security and telecommunications system. Plays a lead role in training and providing ongoing support to other Sales Assistant. Exchange marketplace rep, inventory of sales material to plans, promo items, office supplies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Serves as subject matter expert on all sales administrative processes, communicate with customers, employees and other individuals to answer questions and explain information.
Compile, copy sort and file records of enrollment applications, business transactions and other activities.
Through collaboration with the Market Leader, delegates essential functions and duties to Sales Assistants within the Market or area.
Prints and distributes all lead sheets to the sales managers.
Copies and maintains archives of consent to contract cards, scope of appointment forms, pre-appointment checklist and all other documents related to the sales and marketing process.
Assist agents in contracting, email department or actual contact.
Performs timely and accurate data entry in Goldmine.
Assists with member calls relating to enrollment or service issues.
Maintain safe and organized office environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Assists in office inventory by ordering marketing materials, supplies or services.
Answer and direct incoming calls following proper phone procedures and policies.
Operate office machines, such as copiers, scanners, fax machines and computers.
Communicate with Market Leader on status of duties assigned (completed/uncompleted).
Must be able to multitask and prioritize various duties.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
Structure and maintains an organized office environment.
Assumes other responsibilities as required or requested by upper management.

High School or GED or equivalent work experience Preferred

Work Experience
Experience Level
2+ years of experience in Sales, Administrative or Customer Service

ADP Training Other Licenses/Certifications
Training provided upon hire -Training sessions in Excel, Time Management

Computer Skills
Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Bilingual (Spanish Preferred)
