Jimerson & Cobb, P.A. is a Jacksonville-based Commercial, Construction and Creditors Rights focused litigation firm located in Downtown. We are looking for one part-time File Clerk who has a professional intent on gaining entry into a growing practice and rewarding career field. Our focus is on a candidate interested in gaining experience in the operations of a law firm and the work tempo of high performing attorneys.

If you value competitive compensation, a fast-paced exciting work environment, collegial atmosphere and a company with immeasurable growth potential, then consider Jimerson & Cobb. We are looking for a focused, enthusiastic, positive individual who possesses a commitment to superior legal support to join our growing team. Applicants must multi-task, be capable of excellent customer service, understand the meaning and proper organization of legal documents and the civil court system, possess superior organizational skills, and be extremely detail-oriented. They must also be able to achieve positive results while dealing in a high volume, deadline-oriented environment. Our file clerks are the gatekeepers of our firm information as they are the administrators of document control, the traffickers of file information, the representatives of our firm on courier missions and the stewards of our internal filing system.

Previous experience in legal private practice preferred, ideally within an area of commercial litigation, construction law, bankruptcy, or foreclosure-related practices. It is very possible, however, for a candidate to be successful without any prior law firm experience. Previous experience answering a multi-line telephone system in a customer service-oriented environment also preferred. Professional-oriented individuals looking to gain experience in a law firm and seek opportunities through proving their capabilities are who we have in mind.
