Assistant Event Planner:

Entry Level Position Salary Compensation: $9.00/hr -$10.00/hr

Job Description: The Assistant Event Planner is a position between the Houston Event Planning and the individual. This position involves the Assistant Event Planner in all aspects of the company. The job duties are listed below:

? Staff the Office during office hours Monday-Friday (Per Schedule)
? Assist with Marketing to companies and organizations
? Set up the casino parties, events, weddings, and other corporate events
? Create layout, bids, agreements, and quotes
? Assist with Staffing Events Internal & External
? Filling & Archiving Past Events
? Follow-Up on inquires
? Event Close Outs (Client Surveys)
? Assist with the Creation Quotes and Contracts
? Assist with Vendor Coordination & Issuing of Contracts
? Assist with Coordination of Internships and Job Shadow
? Pick-Up Payments
? Manage Events that are on the schedule
? Assist on corporate events and weddings
? Run necessary errands, research, office chores, create documents and answer questions and telephones.
? Casino Dealers:
o Hire, Train, & Staff Dealers
o Confirm Dealers and staff for the day of the event
o Manage the event or casino parties
o Track staff histories and performance
