J. R. Johnson Inc. is an established Oregon general contractor; we supply our clients with a full range of repair and restoration services, tailored to meet their needs.

We are currently seeking a Stucco Construction Project Manager. The ideal Stucco Construction Project Manager candidate will:

Have at least 5 years' experience in the stucco installation industry, including a strong knowledge of Exterior Installation and Finish Systems (EIFS). This will include different types of synthetic stucco, "Synergy", "Firestone", "Dryvit" or "Sto".

Have the ability to differentiate between colors in terms of hue, and the ability to identify a particular color or color combination from memory, as colors are used in stucco and various design materials and finishes.

Be computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

Maintain a sense of urgency for all matters related to stucco projects, with the ability to troubleshoot in tough situations and have the ability to work under high stress situations.

Job duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Working with the director of construction to maintain an accurate schedule of the work in progress on assigned jobs; including labor requirements, schedule compliance, and availability to handle upcoming work.

Reviewing each job assigned, preparing and submitting permit applications, ordering all long lead items, and preparing a preliminary job schedule.

Setting up the job specific daily time card utilizing the cost categories to match the estimate budget before job start-up.

Scheduling a time for the lead stucco mason to review the complete job package in the office, and submitting any questions or concerns raised to the sales person for that job.

Schedule an in-office pre-construction meeting for the lead stucco mason, sales person, and themselves to go over the job in detail.

Preparing the agenda and attending a pre-construction conference with clients, sales person, and lead stucco mason. Along with the lead stucco mason, the PM will run this meeting after being introduced by the sales person. Uncovering any grey areas in the client's understanding of the scope of work while clearly communicating what the client should expect during the construction process.

Work with lead stucco masons to monitor schedule and budget compliance on individual jobs.

Ensuring that all time cards for jobs under their supervision are downloaded to the office on a daily basis.

This job position will include frequent travel between Salt Lake City, UT, and Portland, OR. The compensation for this position includes a salary that is based on the job candidate's experience, plus benefits.
