Reception and Sales Desk
Responsibilities include processing sales, answering the telephone, greeting and speaking with customers, and other front counter duties as required. This position is an active position and will require a significant amount of time standing and walking throughout our large warehouse, and regularly assisting with moving/carrying smaller pieces of furniture when required. This position also requires lots of computer work, so computer efficiency is a must.
No experience necessary, but knowledge of furniture and aptitude for interior decorating are a definite plus. Candidates with retail or customer service experience will be preferred. Must be able to pass written, math, and keyboarding skills assessment test.
Must be highly detail oriented as daily tasks are varied and involve memorizing many different procedures, must have superior people skills, learn quickly, speak and write well, good handwriting, a positive attitude, and possess above average computer skills with knowledge of Excel and Word, and experience using a digital camera and photo editing software.
This is a permanent, part time position, 2 to 3 days per week. Working on weekends may be required.
