Residential Counselor I or II
Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare (www.cascadiabhc.org) is a major nonprofit provider of behavioral health services in the state of Oregon. Cascadia is a Recovery-oriented, trauma-informed service provider for persons with serious mental illnesses and addictions. Cascadia seeks to become consumer-involved, consumer-engaged, and consumer-driven. Cascadia furthermore seeks to increase its trauma-sensitive services. The heart of Cascadia is her people - the people we serve, our coworkers, and our community partners.
The Residential Counselor I is entry level. The Residential Counselor II must possess a Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field from an accredited college or university or three years of full time professional experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
The Residential Counselor I/II, Floater works at various residential facilities within all three (3) Clackamas County AMHI programs (Leland, Portland or Pearl) depending on individual program needs for coverage. The Residential Counselor II, Floater must fill shifts to meet 0.8 FTE by using electronic scheduler or by contacting the program manager of all three (3) AMHI programs (Leland, Pearl and Portland). These homes are transitional facilities in which SPMI individuals can come to feel safe, recover and increase skills to live independently.

Most Benefits are available to all Regular, Full time employees. Benefits are pro-rated for all employees working less than 40 hours per week and more than 20 hours.
