Paragon Mechanical is in search of a Sales Professional who is driven, self-motivated, and outgoing. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer acquisition and growth objectives. In order to be considered for this position, you must be comfortable making cold-calls, generating interest, qualifying prospects, conducting appropriate follow-up, and transferring leads to Outside Sales Representatives and Project Estimators.
Track record of exceeding goals and expectations.
Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
Proficient with modern technology and eagerness to learn new software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong listening and presentation skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Some college education is preferred, but not required.
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and e-mails.
Understand customer needs and requirements.
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales Executives for further development and closure.
Achieve daily and weekly goals.
Identify key players (title, name, phone, and e-mail) and generate interest.
Maintain your database of prospects within your assigned industries.
Respond to requests from customers for information.
Keep management informed of all activity, including daily preparation of reports.
This position operates in a professional office environment and all employees are expected to conduct themselves accordingly. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, and printers.
