Position summary:
We are looking for the right person to fill this full-time position, working for an innovative technology solutions/computer support company located in lower Fairfield County. This individual reports directly to the Operations Manager. Working hours are generally Mon- Fri 8:15am- 5:15pm (subject to change). Some overtime is needed; weekend and evening work required occasionally for special projects *** planned in advance.

Essential Functions:
1.Assure continuity of the computer systems for all users
2.Install all new hardware, systems, and software for networks
3.Provide technical assistance and advice to users as needed
4.Repair hardware as necessary or work closely with vendors
5.Supports administration of servers and server clusters
6.Manages all system back-up and restore protocol
7.Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems
8.Document network problems and resolution for future reference
9.Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam
10.Keep inventory up to date, organize parts and track licenses
11.Be well organized and pay attention to details
12.Meet expectation of attendance, dress code and punctuality

Essential Qualifications:
1.Ability to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the United States
2.Be a "people person" and treat users with respect
3.Ability to work without supervision; self starter
4.Willing and able to work evenings and weekends as scheduled in advance
5.Work overtime as required
6.Meet physical demands of the position including ability to lift and handle up to 45 pounds of materials, bend, stoop, stretch as required for placement and retrieval of equipment under desks and on shelving.
7.Be a creative thinker
8.Be excited to learn and improve technical skills
9.Able to work in a fast paced environment that requires multi-tasking
10.Must pass background check
11.Must pass substance abuse screening as may be required
12.Need to have own vehicle to drive to clients (mainly Southwestern Connecticut)

Training and experience:
1.Associate degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent
2.Three or more years experience as a computer specialist
3.Knowledge of EMR a plus
