Meditators needed for study
My name is Jim Troyer and I am a doctoral candidate of I/O psychology at Capella University. I am working on collecting data for my dissertation research and would like your support. If you are currently a meditator, US resident, aged 18 or older, and work full time as a manager, I would like to invite you to be part of this important study.
The purpose of this research is to examine the relationships between procrastination, burnout, engagement, and mindfulness amongst meditators and non-meditators. For all meditators that are interested in participating in the study, please click on, or cut and paste into your browser the following link ( ) in order to access the Adult Informed Consent Form and the survey. The informed consent form describes what you will do during the study and the risks and benefits of the study. After agreeing to the informed consent form, you will be able to answer the survey questions, which should not take more than 12 minutes. By enrolling as a participant and completing the survey, you may enter a random drawing for a chance to win 1 of 2 $50, 1 of 4 $25, or 1 of 10 $10 gift cards to Amazon.com.
The research requires approximately 100-150 participants. Once reaching this point, data collection will be closed. Participation in this study is voluntary and you may withdraw from participating at any time. If you have any questions you may contact the researcher: Jim Troyer, Ph.D. (candidate); Capella University;
I've had several questions raised about what constitutes a manger, in this case, it is one who generally plans, directs, coordinates, budgets, supervise a business unit or section, and/or employees. I've attached a link to the Bureau of Labor Statistics to assist in determining qualification.
Also, it would helpful for this research if you could refer this study to someone who qualifies. Thank you for passing the word along!
