We are Team Jefferson, Jefferson County's Economic Development Council, working to build business owners. We accomplish this through a series of training programs, strategic partnerships and one on one counselling with individuals who wish to start, grow or maintain their business.
Team Jefferson is seeking an individual who, with the Executive Director and Board, will create, promote and manage Team Jefferson's programs. This individual will have the ability to help develop education and outreach programs as well as market them to business owners or prospective business owners throughout the County. They will also handle administrative duties as needed to assist the ED, board and clients.
Previous experience might be in administration, marketing or program development. College level communication skills as well as excellent technical skills, especially Constant Contact, and Microsoft Office are required. This position will also work with a bookkeeper to assure good financial practices are in place and followed so a reasonable understanding of financial management would be helpful.
This is an hourly position working 30-40 hour per week. Rate of pay will depend upon your qualifications and experience and how well they match our requirements and include three weeks of vacation.
