Sadly, our little mutt needs a new home. Her name is Teagan (pronounced Tee-guhn) and we just don't have the time to care for her anymore. We adopted her from the Bradshaw Animal Shelter when she was two months old, where she had been found abandoned on the street. The pound thought she was an Irish Wolfhound mix, but she is only about 30 lbs, so that's not likely. We are guessing she is some sort of terrier or Schnauzer. Now she is four years old and deserves a better home than we can provide.
She has some attachment issues, and doesn't like to be left alone for very long. She is crate trained and has experienced some incontinence, but only when she is scared. She doesn't do well with cats but does well with other dogs and older kids. She barks at strangers, but she is very loyal and once she trusts you, she is the absolute sweetest dog. She likes going on walks and taking naps.
The only reason we need to find a new home for her is because she needs more love and attention than we can provide, due to our growing family. We can help provide some of her dog food so that you don't have to worry about buying any for a while. We are asking for a $50 re-homing fee, as a precaution against putting her in a dangerous situation.
Please contact me if you or someone you know are interested. We really want to make sure she goes to a nice new home, because she deserves it.
