Nancy's Fancy product is nurtured by Chef Nancy Silverton from top to bottom and each sublime flavor is carefully conceived by Nancy. When you consider that her compatriot Mario Batali has dubbed Nancy the "Goddess of Deliciousness," you can be sure that Nancy's Fancy is simply the best of the best.

The second product line you will oversee is L.A. Creamery Artisan Ice Cream. L.A. Creamery manufactures all natural, artisan ice creams which contain no high fructose corn syrup, no rBGH/rBST or added hormones and absolutely no artificial colors.

We are seeking a Production/Kitchen Manager with a minimum of 2 years experience.

Daily work may involve making batches of gelato, preparing ingredients, packing gelato in pints, cleaning, management of prep cook (s), ordering, weekly scheduling of your staff, scheduling with co-packers, organizing inventory, tasks from ownership, submission of payroll, end of month inventory, creating and following budgets, maintaining budgeted food costs, 10% of the time offsite meetings in Downtown or Hollywood, supervision of the kitchen staff, and shipments.

-- A proven track record of creating consistent and high-quality products in an efficient, deadline-driven environment is required. We have found that successful candidates have had experience working in bakeries, pastry kitchen of fine dining restaurants and hotels, assembly-lines, or other places where following a recipe and being able to repeat something perfectly more than 100 times with absolute perfection is commonplace. Trust us, this ain't for everyone -- but for the right person, you will thrive here!

- Must have ServSafe California Food Handler Card
- 5% or less travel annually
