Administrative/ Customer Service :
A manufacturing company is looking for the right candidate will provide administrative support to our order entry and shipping dept.
They will be responsible for entering incoming customer orders along with all aspects outgoing shipments. This includes, but not limited to, releasing orders, scheduling, shipment documentation, and tracking. Other duties include direct contact with inside sales, customers, carrier dispatchers, and vendors. This is a job for someone who enjoys a fast paced work environment with lots of daily activity. You will be working in an office setting and report directly to the company operations manager. This position calls for someone who is willing to patiently learn all aspects of the company order entry and shipping system. They will also be expected to cross train in other areas in the company to fill in as needed.

Ability to listen and learn every aspect of the job.
Excellent computer and data entry skills.
Competency in Microsoft Office and other programs.
Excellent people and communications skills. Interface with plant personnel
Organized and detail oriented with great follow-up skills.
Ability to multitask and work cross-functional.
The applicant must be able to pass a drug screen.
A comprehensive background investigation will be completed on all applicants.
Must have reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be able to speak, read and write in English, Bilingual a plus.
Familiar with manufacturing environment
Familiar with LTL and TL shipping
Knowledge or experience in domestic and international shipping
Knowledge of shipping software for UPS World Ship and FedEx Manager
Prior experience in P.O. order entry a plus
Associates degree a plus
