The University of Michigan Survey Research Center (SRC) is part of the nation's largest academically-based social science and research organization. SRC is seeking part-time field interviewers in the Chicago area to work on the Becoming a Man (BAM) study. Interviewers will interview male high school students in schools, homes, and other locations.
Requirements:
Attend a 6-day mandatory training session in Chicago, IL on November 1-6, 2015
Have good computer and typing skills using a laptop computer
Availability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week including weekday, evening, weekend, and school hours, Nov-April 2016
Work in a variety of Chicago neighborhoods
Have reliable transportation to meet the demands of the assignments. (A valid driver's license and insurance is required when driving.)
Pass a security background check through the Chicago Public Schools Department of Education

We offer:
Hourly pay rate is $15.00
oEnglish/Spanish bilingual candidates who meet our proficiency standards receive $17 per hour.
The mileage reimbursement for business travel is $.575 per mile
Paid training on how to conduct field interviews using standardized techniques
