We have an immediate opening for a part time contract position, potentially becoming part time employment, for someone to help run a rapidly growing e-commerce company. The company specializes in lithium ion batteries. These batteries are mostly sold for use with e-cigarette/vaping devices, high performance flashlights and portable lights, and for battery pack building for projects like e-bikes and small electric vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:
-Packing orders daily, including printing labels/documentation with our shipping software (Shipstation)
-Inspecting/counting incoming products
-Stocking shelves for packing and keeping shipping area neat
-Deliver some packages to the post office in Phoenixville, sometimes the UPS store.

There are also other optional projects that could be taken on if you have interest and appropriate skills, some examples would include:
-Customer Service, replying to emails
-Battery Testing
-Writing of Battery Reviews
-Listing products on the website or on Ebay

Expected Time Commitment
Job would start on a contract basis for one month, starting immediately (August 24th or earlier) and if it works out well then after a month we could consider steady part time employment or do another temp contract, your choice.

Packages need to be packed daily on all business days, Monday-Friday not including holidays. I would expect 1-3 hours per day, with a total per week of 7-15 hours depending on order volume, with maybe a few additional hours on top of that if you take on some of the optional projects. Mondays are generally more busy at 2-3 hours, the rest of the days would likely be 1-2 hours other than when a shipment is coming in.

This time will mostly be in the afternoon although if you need to there is some flexibility to come another time sometimes. The post office closes at 4:30, so the ideal hours would be between 11am and 4:30pm for the amount of time specified above - your choice of when in that time frame.
The location is in Phoenixville.

Requirements:
-Can lift 30 lbs comfortably and 50-60 lbs briefly/rarely
-Good with simple math - for example looking in a carton and being able to calculate how many are in there based on how many are in each row and how many rows there are (even if you have to use a calculator that's fine but knowing what to type into the calculator)
-Basic or better computer skills
-Detail oriented and thorough
-Reliable
-Driver's license and own vehicle
-Must be willing to have a background check run
-Must not mind dogs (a "coworker" is a very friendly corgi)
-Must be able to self-manage - I am a very hands-off manager, sometimes I won't even be around. You must be able to thrive in that kind of environment where you just get your work done without anyone breathing down your neck.
-High School Diploma or higher
-Must be able to start August 24th or earlier, must be available every business day from Sept 2-11th specifically (basically every week day other than labor day).

Preferred attributes that will set you apart:
-Ability/willingness to take over some of the optional projects listed above
-Experience/knowledge of electronics and/or batteries
-Experience/knowledge of e-cigarettes/vape mods, high performance flashlights, and/or e-bikes/electric vehicles
-Experience listing products on and/or selling with ebay, Amazon, shopify, or another e-commerce system
-Advanced computer skills

TO APPLY:
I only want detail oriented people, so anyone who doesn't follow the below instructions will have your application ignored. Please send an email with the following:
-Subject line says "Application for Shipping/Receiving Coordinator"
-Attach a resume including all education and relevant experience you have, work or otherwise
-Please specify your pay requirements and your availability
-Answer the following question in your email, feel free to use a calculator: A box is full of retail packages that each hold two batteries. It has 6 rows of packages, and each row is 13 packages. How many batteries are in the box?
