A nice yamaha 40, long shaft, electric start, oil injection. 3 cylinder model. With controls and wiring harness.
New paint, new impeller, fresh lower unit oil. New decals should be here this week.
The cavitation plate has a corner broke off but I will throw in a stabilizer, hydrofoil, whale tail, or whatever you call it.
By the looks of it, the motor/block/case has not been opened up for any issues or repair.
No power trim/tilt. About 150 pounds.
Prop is ok but did notice a hairline crack on one blade. A simple bead of weld would do the trick.
I have tank tested it only as I don't have a long shaft test boat at the moment. Doesn't appear to have any issues. Be aware that this is a late 80s -early 90s motor and may require on the water tuning for best performance. I would also verify the oil injection is working by using pre-mix for a few tanks and check the oil level and make sure it's going down.
I will do the best of my ability to help you if something goes immediately wrong with it.
