Looking to hire a Technical Support Representative. The job duties would include the following:
Help customers solve technical & mechanical issues and trouble shooting the fixes for their equipment.
Work with customers to resolve problems and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
Handle warranty related issues with customers
Maintain appropriate logs and communication
Support the customer training program
Collaborate with engineering and other departments to help ensure customer feedback, correct defects and enhance the product
oto become familiar with new products prior
Help Develop documentation for manuals, sales literature, and website on an as-needed basis
*** majority of the work will be done on the telephone ****
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent electrical and mechanical skills required
2-3 years previous experience in a technical support role preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills are mandatory. Excellent telephone skills critical
Must be customer service oriented and believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability, and initiative.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must be able to perform "on-call" after hours technical service phone support.
