General Purpose:
Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
Receive and direct visitors
General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing
Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
Talk to customers about products we sell
Handle requests for product information
Prepare written responses to routine inquiries
Type customer quotes and maintain a follow up schedule
Take and process customer orders
Handle return orders if necessary
Request quotes from vendors
Type purchase orders
Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors
Maintain office supply inventories
Coordinate maintenance of office equipment
Maintain office appearance
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to prioritize and execute a wide variety of unrelated tasks

Education and Experience:
Strong MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word skills
Knowledge of basic QuickBooks functions
Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment
Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
Must be comfortable in a selling environment
Must be able to multitask
High school diploma required
