Marketing and Administrative Assistant
Steve Hopkins Insurance Agency is looking for an energetic and goal-oriented Marketing Assistant. The ideal individual for this position will have 1-2 years of marketing or sales experience, with telemarketing experience a plus. This position will report directly to the Agency Owner.
Cold calling to individuals and businesses to solicit insurance quotes for our agent.
Calls to current clients to solicit appointments for upselling insurance products.
Manage CRM software and analyze the marketability of prospects.
Assign marketing tasks to prospects such as scheduled calls and mailers.
Organize mailings to prospects.
Set appointments for the agent and manage the agent's calendar.
Greet visitors, answer phones, and direct calls to appropriate individuals.
Manage scheduling and posting social media content.
Responsible for a variety of clerical duties (Word, Excel entry, and email support).
Required Skills and Experience:
Excellent customer service, communication, and phone presentation skills.
Must be able to prioritize daily work load, handle multiple tasks, and function with minimal supervision.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel a must.
1-2 years of marketing/sales desired.
Insurance license a plus.
Telemarketing experience a plus.
Hours are Monday through Friday
Pay Commensurate with experience
Hourly Wage + Bonuses
